This might be inspiring or entertaining your audience. Having a clear intention will help you put your message across to the audience.
Facial expression and posture also play an important role. It is not only our mood that influences our facial expression, but also our facial expression impacts our mood. Therefore to have a positive feeling before and during the presentation we can smile. From a previous post we also know that posing in a confident manner will make you feel confident and consequently will make you behave in a confident manner. What can such a confident pose look like? For example, stand upright, in a stable position, and open your arms. This will raise testosterone levels and lower cortisol levels so that you will most likely behave in a more confident manner.
Finally, take deep breaths, all the way into your belly so that you can feel it go up and down; breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth. This will activate the parasympathetic nervous system and slow down the heart rate.
